What we collect and why

We use your project type, name, chosen phone or email contact, suburb/postcode and description to assess and respond to your enquiry. Photos are optional. Please avoid including people, identity documents or other sensitive details in photos.

Storage and access

Enquiries are held in Cloudflare D1 and photos in private Cloudflare R2 storage. Steve accesses them through a private dashboard. Microsoft processes the operational email notification. Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect the form from automated abuse. These providers may process information outside Australia.

Calls and voicemail

Twilio forwards FoxBuild calls and records messages you choose to leave after the greeting. We keep the caller number, call time, outcome and duration, with voicemail recordings and transcripts accessible through our private dashboard. Cloudflare processes voicemail transcription and stores private copies of recordings. Automatic transcripts and suggested enquiry details may contain errors and are checked against the recording. Call recordings, transcripts and contact details are not sent to Google Analytics or Google Ads.

Retention

Enquiries marked unsuccessful and their photos are deleted 12 months after that outcome was last updated. Active enquiries are reviewed regularly so they are not kept indefinitely. Records for accepted jobs are reviewed separately for business recordkeeping requirements. Information may need to be retained longer where required for a dispute or legal obligation. Enquiry photos are not used as marketing material without separate permission.

Optional analytics and ad measurement

For visits Cloudflare identifies as Australian, optional analytics and ad measurement are on by default, without an initial banner. You can opt out or choose analytics only using Privacy / Analytics choices in the footer. For other or unidentified regions, including the EEA, UK and Switzerland, optional measurement waits for your choice. Existing saved choices are respected. Your enquiry works with any choice. Analytics uses Google cookies and browser/device information to measure page visits, quote and call-button clicks, form starts and accepted enquiries. Ad measurement additionally shares validated Google click identifiers and enquiry-success events with Google Analytics and our linked Google Ads account so we can understand which ads lead to enquiries. Advertising personalisation, Google signals and enhanced collection of customer details are disabled.

We do not send customer contact details, job descriptions, enquiry references or photo links to Google Analytics or Google Ads. Google receives a fixed landing-page address; only validated click IDs and allowlisted campaign labels are added when ad measurement is permitted. You can change or withdraw your choice using Privacy / Analytics choices in the footer. With optional cookies declined, the Google tag is not loaded on subsequent visits. Campaign source parameters, including UTM and Google click IDs where available, remain stored privately with your enquiry to help us understand how you found FoxBuild.
